Bending Methods

Ram Style Bending:
Also known as press bending.  This method of bending is used by most muffler shops and is the most restrictive.  Material angles form as center axis advances toward two fixed outer points
Mandrel Bending:
This type of bending is the least restrictive and will give you the most performance.  Materials supported internally and externally while being drawn thru counter bending die onto fixed radii tooling
Rotary Draw Bending:
Material drawn through stationary counter bending die onto fixed radii former tooling to desired bend angle.  This type of bending is used for smaller diameter tubing on a large centerline radius.
Ring Roll Bending:
Material formed using lateral movement and center roll down feed pressure to achieve desired angles
